Matt Schmittdiel has been acting for as long as he could walk on two legs to break! His first professional role was with the St. Louis Shakespeare Company at the age of 11 playing Young John in a 'A Tale of Two Cities.' His most recent roles were in Mizzou's Larry D. Clark Summer Repertory Theatre as Henry Ford in 'Ragtime: The Musical,' a clown in the children’s classic 'Corduroy,' and in a PSA for the Missouri Department of Transportation.
He participated in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival where he was a Semi-Finalist in the Irene Ryan acting competition.
Schmittdiel recently moved to New York City to pursue his passion for filmmaking and acting. He is currently auditioning and growing as an artist every day!
